I have always loved pineapples. I remember being a little girl and going to the grocery store with my mom and watching them cut up the pineapple and tasting the samples. Now you can find pineapples everywhere! From tank tops, phone cases, swimsuits and the list goes on. They are a huge trend for this summer and I have no problem with that!
I had bought a couple of pineapples the other day at the store and decided I wanted to pep them up! Enter this easy DIY of painted pineapples. Not only is it awesome because it makes the pineapples look so fun but you can also still eat them! Win win situation! They would also make adorable centerpieces for a summer party instead of flowers.
Hold the pineapple and use the foam brush to spread paint thoroughly all over the pineapple stems. Go back through with the paintbrush to get the tiny nooks or missed spots from the foam sponge. Each pineapple took me about fifteen minutes to paint. Let dry for and hour and you have pretty pineapples!
