I had the pleasure of attending the Southern Blog Society Conference (#SBScon that has been all over your social media) this past weekend and stayed at the Belmond Charleston Place with these lovely ladies! Talk about a beautiful hotel with stunning chandeliers everywhere and the most fabulous rain shower in our room! It was right off of King Street and the perfect location for site seeing and eating our way through Charleston. Needless to say we all fell in love with Charleston’s charm, colored walls, and all the delicious food.
Coming from Texas, I thought I might get to visit a cooler environment…. wrong! Y’all Charleston is just as hot and humid as Houston. We did a lot of walking and it was quite the steamy environment. I wore this dress for the conference on Saturday and out for the night and it was perfect to shift from day to night. This was my first time to attend a blog conference and packing was quite the struggle for me. I didn’t want to be over dressed or underdressed. This dress came from Target (yes I wore Target loud and proud at a 95% fashion blogger conference) and it is still one of my favorite options I packed. The pattern, fit, neon colors and cut out back are all on point. The pattern stands out and makes me think of a kaleidoscope! This dress is now on sale for under $20 so you need to run to Target and grab it quick! I will be wearing it all summer with how comfortable and sassy it is!
Saturday was the conference portion of SBScon and I learned so much! You can also notice I now have my own domain (proud blogger moment) www.champagneistablog.com. From rebranding, to blogger tax tips, to monetizing our blogs, the information was helpful and great for any blogger at any state of their blogging career. I got to meet so many bloggers I had been talking with on social media in real life and everyone was so sweet!
Is it too early to start the countdown for next years Southern Blog Society Conference?!?
