TGIF friends! Who else is pumped that it is Friday? After having such a busy weekend and week I’m ready for a relaxing night at home tonight. Houston friends if you are looking for something to do this weekend come to the Casa de Esperanza Young Professional Chili Cook-Off. The organization is a safe place for children in crisis due to abuse, neglect or the effects of HIV. Derek and I have been involved with this event for the past couple of years and it is always fun plus benefits such a great cause. What are y’all up to this weekend? Now lets get to this week’s Friday Favorites!
Holy cow I am completely smitten with these booties. They are the perfect shoes to transition into spring and the ankle tie is such a cute detail. I love this light blue suede color for spring but they also come in black and tan, which would also work well for the fall and a pretty pink for my pink ladies. I’m clearly on a chunky heel kick but who doesn’t like a more comfortable heel?
I typically switch out my purse on the weekend to carry a smaller crossbody than my usual big Mary Poppins purse. This crossbody caught my eye because of the scalloped detailing on it. It is a simple little bag made out of Italian leather and a great bag to have in your closet.
Y’all these crops are a complete game changer. I bought these on Monday and they are seriously the most comfortable pair of work out pants that I own. The high waist is awesome so you aren’t don’t have to constantly pull up your pants and the material is so soft yet has light compression. You honestly don’t even feel like you are wearing anything when you have them on. While the price tag is a little higher than what I would typically like to spend on work out clothes, they are 100% worth the money.
One can never have too many pairs of statement earrings right? Asking for a friend. How adorable are these tassel earrings? I love the black and white stripes and the colorful tassels. They definitely have me craving a beach vacation!
If you are looking for a book to read, The Couple Next Door should be on your list. I read it for a book club that I am in and could not put it down. It was one of those books that I read it every chance I could get and finished it in two days. It is suspenseful and has so many twists and turns. I highly recommend it!
