Hi friends! Thank you for bearing with me during the past two weeks, as I have just not been in the blogging mind set after Hurricane Harvey. I just felt like sharing an outfit was so impersonal when so many people lost everything except for the items they left their home with. I mean it is just absolutely devastating to drive through my neighborhood and see peoples lives just out on the curb. If you are still looking for ways to donate, please check out my post here. As Houston has started the recovery process, I felt it was time to get back into my blogging game to try to bring some normalcy to my life. Honestly, with Labor Day weekend and the hurricane, I haven’t even known what day it was half this week! We fortunately have had pretty weather this week and I hope to shoot some outfits for y’all this weekend. I’m praying for everyone who is in the path of Hurricane Irma and hoping y’all all stay safe. Is anyone else SO over hurricane season like I am?? Without further ado, let’s get to this week’s Friday Favorites.
With cooler temperatures rolling in I have had fall clothing seriously on my mind. This faux leather jacket is on sale for $52 and I love the drape front style of it. It also comes in black and a toffey color, which are all perfect neutral colors to go with so many outfits. I’ve said this a million times but a leopard scarf is an essential piece to have in your wardrobe. I love this leopard scarf because the base is more of a tan color then brown. You can pair it with a simple tee or a dress and it is the best accessory out there. When in doubt, add leopard! For all you ladies that live in warmer weather climates, these olive suede studded sandals are a great option for fall outfits. They incorporate fall colors and materials yet come in a sandal style for those warmer days. They are on sale for under $50 and also come in burgundy and taupe! A t-shirt dress is always an easy option for a throw on and go outfit. This bow sleeve dress has the cutest poplin bow details and the comfort of a t-shirt. Sign me up please! I purchased a similar sweater vest last year and got SO much wear out it. This vest will be so versatile all through fall and winter and you can’t beat the price tag of under $40! It also comes in grey color, which is calling my name.
